Hello all After alot of thinking, Ive decide than rather get a gas rifle like I was going to I would rather buy a gas pistol and use the extra money I would have used into upgrading my sniper rifle. However, other than the scope I still need to buy and taking out the weights inside the cylinder, I dont know much else that would give more accuracy(powers ok for now, but the wieghts will bring the fps up, so I want to counteract that with better accuracy). Does anyone know if a rifled barrel in airsoft actually gives better accuracy? Heres a link: www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=TK-PT-HTBVSR10_cat_Other%20Accurate%20BarrelsI realize with real steel rifles its like going from throwing a football end over end to throwing it with a spin, improving accuracy. And because they worked with muskets, that fired balls(Like a bb pretty much only made out of lead) would it actually give me better accuracy? Thanks.

im not sure but my paintball gun has the same design and it increased the accuracy alot more than the stock one.

OK, thanks. I would just like a few more opinions before I throw down the 50 bucks for it, I could get an extra mag for the gas gun I will get for that.

Humm... in order for the rifling to work I expect that the BB would have to be pretty snug as it comes out of the barrel, so it would have to be pretty narrow.

Im pretty usre it is also a tightbore barrel, only 6.04mm in diameter, so it should be pretty snug.

I don'y think turning it into a rifled barrel would help accuracy, it might. And if you already have a tightbore barrel the only thing that I would think that will inprove accuracy is heavier bb's.

The spin the barrel will create on the bb should improve the shot in some way, whether it is speed or accuracy. If something is spinning while in motion going a certain direction, it will usually go farther because of the spinning motion.
