i was looking at the CA SAR offizer. anyone know anything about it. i was looking at a nice mid range AEG with rails for all kinds of goodies.
if i got the offizer i would upgrade it with a CA 170% spring (same thing as a M120 but its a CA so i feel more cofertable with it) and a low profile mound for the top that would house a red/green dot scope.
also ive never had an AEG before and ive never had to know about them. my last question is: is a metal gearbox renforced? because most sites ive been on dont say anything and the others only say you need to change from plastic to metal gears.

I really like the look of that gun as well, a tactical look without being an mp5... And being a CA it will upgrade and perform well but cheaper guns can do the same performance wise, unless you really like the looks enough to cover the cost.

It will work well for you then. And for your question if it has both a metal shell and metal gears, my CM027 MP5 has metal gears, so Im sure the CA does as well, and they are probably much better.

You dont need to do anything. The metal on a CA and the ABS on a TM will both be durable. However I have heard of the CA bodies being a bit brittle.

naw i dont think so. maybe the forgrip on a M16 varient may be a bit wobbly but all the ones ive used are sturdy as a rock.
